A total of 12 people have lost thier lives till now due to the horrific gas leak incident which took place in Vizag yesterday. The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken this incident very seriously.
The latest we hear is that Jagan has commissioned a door-to-door survey in the villages surrounding LG polymers factory.
Village volunteers will be collecting the details from almost each and every individual residing in the villages surrounding this factory. Every person in these surrounding villages who has been affected by this gas leakage will be receiving a compensation of Rs 10,000.
Also, Jagan has commissioned a special committee consisting of 5 senior officers to investigate the matter. Neerab Kumar Prasad has been appointed as the committee chairman.
It is already known that Jagan had announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the family members of those who had lost their lives yesterday.
