Team India young gun Rishabh Pant is getting numerous chances to prove himself as the right wicket keeper-batsman in the side. However, Pant is still struggling to prove himself on the big stage. His poor shot selection and immature acts are costing him big time. This was very much evident in the first test match between India and West Indies. It is said that many senior players are disappointed with Pant’s poor run of form.
If this continues for a while, the team management will have to look for other alternatives like Wriddhiman Saha, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson. Pant is currently in a spot of bother and he is well aware of the same. However, the board is reluctant to drop him just yet, given the fact that he is exceptional talented and has a great potential.
