AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has been in the news ever since CAA, NRC, and NPR have been announced by the central government. He has been conducting rallies and protests everywhere, and this was the case recently when many Muslim Organisations conducted a meeting in the city.
Speaking at the meeting, Owaisi said that Jagan has to oppose NRC, CAA, and NPR. He also said that the state government cannot say that no documents are required for NPR, as the Central government made it clear that Aadhar Card, Pan Card, mobile number and other details are required.
Owaisi also said that Prime Minister Modi is trying to divide the country based on religion and that these bills would affect Muslims, Dalits, and Adivasis the most. He also urged TDP to take a stand against these bills.
TDP leader and Vijaywada MP Kesineni Nani was present at the meeting and said that TDP would stand against the bills if the government of AP passed the resolution in the state assembly.
