Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was to appear at Nampally CBI court today, to hear his case. However, the trip has now been canceled since the concerned judge is on leave. Jagan is now at his Tadepalli camp office near Amaravati.
An illegal assets case has been filed against the AP CM in the CBI court, and he was strictly ordered to go to court for all of his hearings. Jagan made requests to the CBI court to grant him an exception from attending all court sessions since he would be busy with his duties as a CM. The court denied the request and asked him to attend all sessions in person.
The hearing of the case has now been postponed to February 12.
