The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made some very interesting comments while speaking at a public meeting today.
“The opposition parties, TDP and Janasena are targeting me by saying I am favoring a particular religion. This shows that they are stooping to new lows to criticize me. I am answerable only to the public, but not these opposition leaders,” he said.
Speaking about liquor ban, Jagan said he wishes to completely ban liquor in Andhra Pradesh by 2024.
It needs to be noted that a section of media has been claiming YCP government is directly supporting Christianity in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan’s comments can be considered as a counter to the same.
