According to the latest report, Australian star pacer Mitchel Starc has decided to opt out of the Indian Premier league for the second successive season.
Royal Challengers Bangalore acquired Starc in 2017 and he represented them in that season. However, he stayed away from IPL last year as he was recovering from an injury.
Starc is one of the best fast bowlers in the world and RCB would have been absolutely delighted to avail his services. However, the Australian pacer decided to opt out of this year’s IPL as well, despite the fact that he was retained by RCB.
RCB can now go for another Australian pacer Pat Cummins, who will be available in this year’s auction. He is in fine form now and has all the right qualities to spearhead RCB’s pace attack.
