So far, the state of Telangana managed to control the number of Coronavirus cases in the state, reporting cases in the single digits until last week.
However, this week has been quite different, with more and more cases being reported in the state. A total of 41 new cases have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours.
Out of these 41 new cases, 31 are migrants and the other 10 are locals. Migrants have now become a huge threat to the state, with hundreds of them coming in from other states.
Every single migrant is now being screened at airports and railway stations, in an attempt to make sure that the virus doesn’t spread to anyone else.
Hyderabad remains to be the most affected district and city in Telangana, with the most number of cases. A total of 1,367 cases have been reported so far, and more than half of them have recovered, which is good news.
