Coronavirus: AP Government taking extraordinary precautions

China’s Coronavirus has become a global epidemic, claiming many lives, and threatening several others. In the wake of this disease, flights from China to India have been canceled, and many precautions are being taken all across India to prevent the spread of the virus.

Andhra Pradesh government has alerted the staff of all airports and harbors in the state and has set up special wards at all government hospitals. Thorough checks are being done at Visakhapatnam International Airport and at Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Krishnapatnam ports.

Foreign devotees at Tirumala are being inspected, and blood samples of suspects are being sent to Hyderabad and Pune to be tested. Telangana state officials are also being very careful in preventing the spread of this virus.

Two cases have already been reported in Kerala and the worldwide count has gone to 304. Indian Citizens stuck in Wuhan have successfully been brought to India on Sunday using Air India flights.
